Ron has been involved in the Vancouver real estate industry since the 1970’s and was responsible for the development of a number of iconic buildings including Cathedral Place in downtown Vancouver. Ron also guided the land assembly and securing the lead tenancies for the HSBC Building at 885 West Georgia Street.
Ron has a wealth of real estate related experience in various markets and provides high level guidance to the company’s clients. He participated in and led a number of significant financings including the Marathon Realty package which included Langara Gardens and Shawn Oaks in Vancouver and the purchase of the Place Victoria office tower in Montreal. Ron was also instrumental in the company’s expansion into the United States with the purchase of Park Central III, a 521,000 square foot office tower and the 236 unit First Day apartment complex, both located in Dallas, Texas.
Ron obtained a BA from Stanford University and an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He was previously on the Board of the Vancouver Opera, St. George’s School, and the St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation and was Chair of the Sun Yat Sen Garden Society of Vancouver. Ron also served on the Asian Advisory Committee of the Bank of Montreal and as a Trustee of the Vancouver Board of Trade.
